Disney+ experienced a fluctuation in downloads with a peak of around 701k in mid-September, after starting the quarter with around 685k downloads. Revenue remained strong, with a notable increase to nearly $2.3 million in the last week of September. Weekly active users showed a steady trend, peaking at around 11 million in mid-August.
Netflix, despite not generating revenue through the Play Store, maintained a consistent download rate, with numbers hovering around 300k per week. Weekly active users saw a slight decline from around 28.6 million in late June to approximately 26.7 million by the end of September.
Amazon Prime Video saw an increase in downloads, reaching over 400k at the end of August, but this trend reversed with downloads dropping to around 269k by the end of September.
